They can be used either to connect the mats at each corner, or they can be run into the ground to secure/fix the tile down into the ground, especially when working on very soft ground or on slopes. Metal U-pin quick-release fasteners are useful for short-term use and when loading vehicles and light machinery. They are made from plain steel which ensures a good life but can rust when used and stored in wet areas. (Mao, quite a high probability of them turning brown, so you may not want to handle them in white suit #tips) Fits mainly LIGHT & MEDIUM
